Personal Note: I cloth diapered my son. I'm glad I did. As long as the diaper shell gets the urine rinsed off, it will last a long time. Cloth diapering is cheaper over the time your child will be using diapers. They also create less waste in the landfills. And let's not forget that cloth diapers are CUTE! Disposable diapers are ugly.
My son basically lived in his cloth diapers during the summer. It was also more easy to toilet train my son compared to my daughter, who I wanted to do the same for, but I didn't have access to cloth diapers when she was a baby, nor did I have a supportive environment for my desire to be a crunchy mama.
Now that I am moving into my Crone phase of life, I want to do everything I can to make it possible for my daughter to be as crunchy a mama as she wants. I'll do everything I can to provide access to breastfeeding support, cloth diapers, healthy hygeine supplies, and anything else helpful that I can.
